As the saying goes, there is usually “room for improvement”. That doesn’t mean in every aspect of our life because sometimes how it is is good enough. But, we all know we can improve somewhere. According to a go-to source of mine, MysticMamma, that’s the theme of the month: Improvement. January was about Activation. Now, it’s time to improve what we’ve activated.
So, what’s up?
The ability + motivation to refine + upgrade all aspects of your life whether that be the way you communicate, your health, relationships with self and others or in work. Use this time to “pause, rethink & regroup”. This helps in opening your eyes to see what isn’t working, so you can take steps to letting go. It’s been said that this year’s challenges are Impatience + Martyrdom. They’re called challenges because neither of them really serve us in the long run.
How to prevent becoming impatient?
1. Focus on 1 thing at a time that you want to change & improve. Take baby steps.
Improve your relationship with Time. Western culture is obsessed with time. I definitely have trouble with it. For example, my habit of trying to plan every minute of my day, having the occasional mindset that “I’ve run out of time”, etc. Some of this is in the name of productivity because time is precious, but it can become controlling and fear-based.
“There is always enough time for everything. Everything happens in the right time.”
